About Dr. Painter

Deep Moore Roots

Dr. Painter graduated from Moore High School in 1984. He and his wife, Kim, met as students at Moore High and have been married for 38 years. The Painters have four children and now live in southwest OKC.

Local Optometrist

Dr. Painter practiced optometry in downtown Moore for over thirty years. He knows what it takes to run a business and create good jobs in our community.

Community Leader

Dr. Painter has a lifelong history of service to our local community. Dr. Painter has served on the Moore School Board, Moore Parks Board, and the Work Activity Center Board (helps special needs adults with employment). He’s also supported the Republican Party and local GOP candidates for decades.

Man of Faith

Dr. Painter grew up attending Moore First Baptist and is a former Deacon and Sunday School Director at Emmaus Baptist Church. His decisions at the Capitol will always be guided by his Christian faith.
